Well people I am really new to all this insurance for tractors and just about everything else. We just purchased our first home in July of 98 and that is why I say that I am really new to this. We have about 15 acres of woods and planned on grading alot of things and that is why I started looking for a piece of equipment, which was confusing enough. But anyway I would really like to know how many people have insured their tractors and if I should or not. I recently purchased a crawler, loader, backhoe and never even thought about insuring this under my home owner policy. And if you people don't mind giving me examples of costs that would be great for me to weigh the pro's and con's of insurance policies on tractors. I am in New York for all those who are going to reply with costs and policies. Thanks in advance

WEll FYI the problem was just the lack of hydraulic fluid in the main reservoir. That was an awesome find after thinking I had to replace some pumps. So if anyone else experiences this here is what I ran into. There have got to be some more magnatrac owners out there that would like to compare stories.

Boy isn't all this exciting? You know looking to buy your first Tractor (out toys). Except when it comes down to really not knowing what the heck to do. I have been looking now for awhile and am still undecided. What I am looking for here is some input on which to buy. I know I haven't told you what I will be using the unit for but am wondering what you think about people not telling the truth on the hour meter. The reason why this is in my head is because of a deal that I might end up doing and hopefully not regretting. It is a 1998 B20 with 300hrs, 90% tires, & paint touched up. This was a rental return with storing outside spots (rusty ROPS, & etc.), but the general condions seems to be fine. Mind you that it is about 600 miles away from me so I am looking a pictures mailed and internet. He will deliver this to my doorstep for $13,700. Please tell me if this is a good deal and whether I should be sceptical about doing this. Thanks in advance.
